I've been contemplating the best way to plumb in my incoming Micra. I currently have an RO system plumbed to a separate faucet near my sink. Im aware that using RO water is a no-go due to the lack of mineral content. But I got thinking and I could pipe it so that the water...

TL;DR: I have a whole house water softener, is it ok to use that when just starting out?
I'm very new to home espresso. My gear isn't ordered and arriving in the next few weeks. I've been reading up on water and wondering if it is a thing I have worry about now vs after I've...
