I ordered a Micra and e-mailed LaMarzocco asking them their recommendation for a water solution. Based on the water report below, they recommended I order

iSpring RCC7P https://www.amazon.com/iSpring-RCC7P-Ca ... 003ZZUBHE/

and replace the 5th filter with - https://www.espwaterproducts.com/omnipu ... te-filter/

Water Report - https://www.cityofsouthlake.com/2394/Wa ... nformation

Also, they said to order the iSpring RCC7P but didn't specify whether to order the 6 filter AK version or the 5 filter non AK version. I assume the non AK version since they proposed replacing the 5th filter with the Omnipure.

Does this sound like a solid proposal?

Looks like good advice to me. That Omnipure K2548 is a reliable and predictable simple calcite filter that would be used instead of iSpring's AK FA15 filter. (The FA15 has some Corosex (magnesium oxide) that can bump the hardness and pH a little unpredictably, along with some probably harmless snake oil mineral balls).

Thanks. Just to clarify - I wouldn't be buying the AK version and replacing that filter. I'm buying the five filter version and replacing the 5th filter (which is post carbon). Does that sound right?

I think you want to keep that 5th stage carbon filter. It's there to handle off tastes and odors that you might get from the storage tank. So you can go with the 6 stage unit and swap out the 6th stage, or add fittings and the Omnipure to a 5 stage version. I think the omnipure is just calcite (no carbon).
