It's not difficult to make your own distilled water. Folks who want to do that might consider getting a stove or countertop distillation set up, like the following (stove top) model from Amazon:

thank you for this great information. i apologize for my ignorance but the potassium bicarbonate additive, where do i find it ? any particulars/kinds i should look for ? could you perhaps link me a product you know for reference ?

If you'd rather shop small just make sure it is food grade. I have seen food grade and lab grade and i believe they are different. I got one that was both. Wine and beer brewing supply shops should have it.

Thanks for the hint NelisB, but I have never seen that water. I did a quick google search, but unfortunately it does not seem available in normal supermarkets.You don't have Spa Reine (blue) in Suisse?
Thanks Pressino, however, considering the electricity and how hard is our tap water, I am not sure this solution would be at the end cheaper than buying bottled water. Fun fact, I spent two weeks in Italy, and there too, I could find only demineralized water, but no distilled water in shops.
