can anyone recommend any adequate supplier of BWT equipment in Nordics, preferably in Norway or Sweden?
All attempts to get any sensible information from BWT Norway failed so far, as well as attempts to reach their headquarters to rectify the situation.

I am leaning towards trying their magnesium stuff, but there are some uncertainties to clarify - and it is not even obvious where to purchase the parts and expendables.

through Denmark? A lot of companies have a local office in one of the 4 scandinavian countries, a habit from well before the EU opened borders internally.
