Question for UK members - is the best bottled water for espresso / prevention of scale Volvic water? We have a flat in the Bristol area that we will be visiting for a few weeks at a time and need suggestions for bottled water. From what I see, Volvic seems to be the preferred brand. We may go down the path of pitcher filtration as well (BWT jug?) but am curious as to what you all prefer.
Thanks!

I used to use this with a Decent DE1 Pro as was recommended by fellow Decent DE1 users.

Based on a label I found online, this doesn't look too bad. Unlike many so-called mineral waters this one should not give you limescale problems. Calcium ion at 11 mg/L gives you a calcium hardness of 28 mg/L CaCO3 equivalent. Alkalinity from that 25 mg/L bicarbonate would be about 20 mg/L CaCO3 equivalent. I think the downside to this water is the low alkalinity combined with that 14 mg/L of undesirable chloride ion. Do check your label though to be sure it's like the one I found:

We have always used Volvic in both our Londinium and kettle.
We cannot see any calcium build up in our kettle at all.
Second popular choices are Waitrose essential and Tesco ashbeck ( or a mix of these 2).
