My first time using 22 gram basket. Do i pull the same amount as a double dose and the same time. I ask cause I've read somewhere its the same like a double. Is that true?

You pull what tastes good in the cup to you. But, as a starting point, the suggested timing is the same for all basket sizes.

What matters for the taste is the ratio of grams of coffee in the basket vs grams of coffee in the cup. This ratio is roughly 1:1 for ristretto and 1:2 for regular espresso. Or anything between those 2 values or above to get the taste that you want.

That means that with a bigger basket you aim for a more coffee in the cup. With the 22 g basket I would experiment to get between 22 g and 44 g of coffee in the cup. The timing is always roughly the same, around 25~30 seconds.
