Firstly, do any of you recognize the following recipe as a golden latte, or does the term mean something different to you? I'd love to try different versions as well as share this one under the proper name.

I've been really enjoying this golden-latte recipe for some decaf afternoon work-breaks:

Golden Latte RecipeAdd about 1tsp dried, ground ginger (quality matters, we use the good stuff from spice-house), a few dashes of turmeric and some honey, stir in about 30ml's of hot water and add the steamed milk on top of that.

I'd like to know if anyone has found a way to get some more contrast on their latte art out of this drink without blowing out the turmeric portions. I've tried gently mixing in the turmeric on top of the drink after adding half the milk, but it is still mostly white looking by the end. Will try to post a picture of this afternoon's drink.
