I also understand RDT is not recommended. I had static issue as well and could not get all the grind from dose cup to the basket. I started using a chop stick to stir the grind in the cup before pouring and this works perfectly. No grid is left in the cup. I then WDT using a thin wire, use leveler and tamp.
