Here I was expecting a heart or a Rosetta at best and then he pulls off an intricate complex design besting many professionals. How young do you have to be to enter the WBC?Wattbe wrote:Hi everyone, my 12 year old has gotten into espresso and latte art in a big way recently. He's started his own YouTube channel and put up a video of how to make a good espresso and pour a latte art swan.
He asked if I could show you good people, so here's the link!
He was a bit nervous making the video but his art didn't suffer thankfully! His latte art skills have overtaken mine now!

So are you going to lease him a roaster so he can start his own business? How great would that be, cause you know how else is going to pay for a setup when he goes to college?

Don't encourage me - my wife gave me a certain look when I started talking about roasters!

Just start buying the most expensive coffee around and then show her the cost of greens. Voila, and "how happy that will make our son."

That is just fantastic! My 12 y/o son is nowhere near that good. He can make a decent tasting latte, but that's about where it ends. Your son definitely has a future in coffee, whether as a hobbyist or professional.
