I'm not sure this is the right forum but it's the closest I could see. I'm new to latte art and would like to see a tutorial on doing a dog paw. Should be simple, right? All I could find on YouTube was an elaborate dog face. TIA

Free pour would be tough, but a little spoon might do the trick. Drop a horizontal oval below center, four vertical ovals above center, and use a toothpick or probe to push a little of the dark barely into the lower oval to get the lobed shape.

@MB - strong work! I like it. Now I'll have to try cat paws.

That looks like a lot of coffee to start with in the cup.. is that a triple or a longo or fast coffee shot or something (I forget what they are called)?

@MB - Was that your first attempt at a cat!? Wow, splendid - really like it. Did you have a model for this or did you go by memory?

I have three cats who might sit still long enough to model for me. :D
