Oh perfect timing. Total newbie here, just got my first proper machine (ECM Classika) and immediately upgraded with a IMS Nanotech 18g and IMS Shower Screen before pulling a single shot. After pretty much a full 250g of espresso I have yet to get a decent shot that wasn't raining all over the place at best, and spraying all over at worst! Puck prep seems as good or better than some of these YouTube/Insta videos I see of people quickly puck prepping and pulling beautiful shots! Guess I should try the stock ECM basket and see how/if that changes things.
