Grind size

Hello,

I've bought a machine but I not the grinder yet.

If I bought the beans espresso grind, will it work or I'll over or under extracted shots.

What do you recommend me to do in the meantime?

Cans of Illy. It's the only preground coffee that works with a real espresso machine.

And since you cannot control the grind size with this approach, you still can adjust dose up or down, which it seems like gives you some ability to dial in an extraction that will work for you.
