Maybe a newbie (and kinda dumb) question, but I couldn't find an answer anywhere, so here goes;

Why doesn't this shower screen have holes in the center?
It would seem better to more evenly distribute the water over the puck, no?

Marketing to the uniformed?

IMO, screen height trumps hole pattern six ways Sunday

So why does the puck not need to be showered evenly? Still wondering...

It's probably to match the BOB baskets which don't have holes at the edges. Don't ask me.

All E61 shower screens have a solid center section, although this one is definitely more unique. The reason is because the water coming out of an e61 group is in a single stream in the center, prior to hitting the screen.

e61 typically have a ≈1 inch water spreader which drops water around the shower screen. IMO, the best screens have the least restriction for even wetting. The solid center might wet from the wall inward
