As i said i do WD but results remain the same. Tried to grind finner and lower the dose even more, to 15gr, i got a messy soupy puck, with clear indications of chanelling, but i have to say taste wise wasnt that bad. I am still annoyed though

Don't look at the puck.
Try raising the temperature

Unfortunately DTP has no temperature control. I could do some temperature surfing, but don't know if that will help. I am curious though how do you think temperature affects channeling.

Last year I had a problem roast that did not pull well.
I raised the temperature and presto, problem solved.
Of course, it could have been sunspots or the phase of the moon

Ok thanks for sharing this.
I made another experiment: 17,3 gr of super stale coffee (6 months old, supermarket coffee, only used when I run out of proper coffee between orders and deliveries). Of course since it's stale it will channel, but I got a 1:2 yield in around 32 secs , colour sequence was nice (dark red>brown>gold) and taste wise it was better than the fresh batches from the previous roaster. HOW IS THIS EVEN FKING possible.?? And no my pallet is not fked up, I can distinguish bitter, salty, sweet tastes. At first I thought I got covid

I am close to giving up with the machine. Ive tried literally everything, experimenting with dose, grind, tamp pressure, wdt, fresh beans, old beans etc etc. Still the problem remains, i cant seem to be able to choke the machine either. It will start dripping until the moment it starts pumping 15bars and end up chanelling. Ill contact also Sage customer care, since this problem only started the last month and it keeps repeating on the exact same spot of the portafilter.
