Well let's see. Hot on the nose, I like the smell. Smells like, pancake syrup. And it's sweet, something I've never tasted in a cup this green. Medium body, I'll let it cool.

The wait is on. It's drinkable at room temp. & it tastes like a light roast. nor grassy still sweet. Next time I'll take less heat out near 370°. That might keep dev. up near 10°f where I want it.

I may just be a 380° charge convert after this.

In a personal communication with Theta Ridge, I learned that Bob O Link is the only coffee of Fazenda Ambiental Fortaleza marketed by Theta Ridge.

I have not been able to locate another US source for their coffee.

If anyone notices other microlot greens from them available to the home roaster, please let me know. The link has some comments about the farm, as described in a Blue Bottle coffee co. blog.

I wish I bought some more.

My wife's inexperienced palate said the coffee tastes "toasty" and I'm like huh what do you mean and she continued to explain it's like a comforting smores like taste. For me and my slightly experienced palate it did have resemblance of marshmallows and hazelnuts. Reminding me of nutella.

I'm really enjoying it and it wasn't the most prettiest roast curve either...excited to see what else the coffee holds in following roasts.

I have a bit over two pounds of this left, having done two 200g roasts on the Behmor. One of them has no notes (except my Roastmaster 1C timing clicks), and the other one along with the iPad Roastmaster timings just says, "Try it a little lighter next time." I'll try it again on the Hottop one of these weeks. On the Behmor I just remember it not being a standout and not liking it as much as Sweet Blue.

How come every time I see the heading to this thread I think of The Who's Baba O'riley. I guess you know my age now.

Out here in the fields
I fight for my coffee
I get my back into my living
I don't need to fight
To prove I'm right
I don't need to be forgiven
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Don't cry
Don't raise your cup o joe
It's only teenage wasteland
