1s sampling rate/10s ds.

Idle noise has to be checked with all smoothing turned off. In your chart there is smoothing turned on. Already with those settings one see large regular distortions. Not a good signal.

Phidgets/USB isolator/Laptop powered up.

How does this looks if the z-axis (delta axis) limits are set to -27F/min to 27F/min? Is this sampled at a 0.5s rate?
Why is this RoR on average positive? Where does this offset comes from?

Sitting here laughing at myself and hoping for the best. This is a 1sec. sampling rate. SUT on, roaster off. I hit the start button and then charge. Temp off-set must be my +7 deg I've built in because my TC only show 205f when in boiling water. I removed the USB isolator and ran this on batt pwr.

Odd how those spikes get farther and farther apart

My lastest latest. SUT off/roaster off. 1sec sampling rate, 1sec DS, zero smooth.

..but those last two screen shots show again smoothed data. So what do you want to get to with this? If you plan to compare your noise level with the ones I measured in On Idle Noise you should use the exact same settings as I described them.

I don't know what's causing the smoothing. As far as i know, it's all turned off.

My goal is the same as yours was.

.5sec interval. When I save the graph to HB format it's auto cleaned. I'll stop now
Thanks
