Keep waiting for someone to raise their hand. Will someone volunteer for Sept, thanks?

Kenya Kirinyaga Kiangoi AA - bet we even lure Farm into this month's roast ---

For August, I chose a Kenyan as:
° I know I would like to learn more about evaluating Kenyans -- not my go-to coffee of choice so need to learn more,
° You can pack your bag full of other SM beans,
° and its write-up sounds great:

"..This AA lot makes an impressive cup, fruited and full of clear, refined sugar sweetness. Flavors of grape juice, mulling spice, and fresh mango come out in City roasts. The list grows as the cup cools, and are highlighted by a crisp, malic acidity, like apple juice. It's a refreshing cup in the City/City+ roast range, and has so much 'Kenya' character in its complex nature. It has a nice vanilla flavor too, that works well with sweet citrus notes of mandarin and tangerine, which reverberate in the finish. Kiangoi offers a clean expression of fruit flavors, and retains a refreshing elegance in the way profile notes are seemingly highlighted, and easily discernible from one another. A true 'standout' brewed coffee...

Grab a pound of that peaberry while you are in there -- looks good.

I grabbed all 3 of their Kenyan offerings as I consider myself a novice on Kenyans. SM's coffees are always excellent and it will help me better learn qualities to seek in Kenyans.

Welcome. We focus on profiling the beans and then evaluating. All levels of roasting competence are welcome.

We use it as an opportunity to compare roasts and learn from one another. B|Java

Yes, so be sure to share your experience - good, bad, or indifferent.

Someone else will have to launch this boat. UPS "delivered" my greens last night, unfortunately to someone else. I notified SM's as UPS requires a 24-hour wait on initiating claims.

Who is willing to get us started?

I received mine yesterday. I can roast up a batch or two tonight and share my results tomorrow.
