Thank you Bill! My plans were to do exactly that to the drum, with the perforation only in the center. My 1 kilo is the opposite, with the entire back wall perforated. After meeting with Jay Endres (of Coffee-Tec) at a Joper presentation, I decided that I should at least try to mimic the same design, and put it on my 1 kilo.

I'd be thrilled to hear your findings as well. Thanks for sharing.

Bill, thanks for that detailed Post about the Mod.

Did you keep the stock fan?

Did you cut the resistor out of the circuit to give more fan control?
