Sipping some now. Sweet, soft yet with a touch of Sumatran finish. Chocolate marshmallow ice cream, honey. Wonderful cup. Boquete area, Panama. Been there, rode the chicken buses.

One of our favorite places to visit. The chicken bus is a must-ride.

We rode over to the Caribbean, Bocas del Toro. Right on the water. Rained the entire 3 days so we pulled out early and went down to David.

We've been a few times. We always stay in an Eco lodge on Isla Bastimentos. When it rains it pours.

Panama City
Panama Canal (read the David McCullough book, "The Path Between the Seas", fascinating, before we went)
El Valle
Santiago (had a satchel made in a saddle shop), cowboy town, rodeo on Sat nite
David
Volcan Baru
Boquete (day on the Ruiz farm, learned a ton)
Bocas

Boquete has become too North American. Wanted to retire in Panama City. Wife and two daughters outvoted me.

Seema as though lots of spots in Central America have become Americanized. We've run into this on quite a few visits. Social security goes a bit farther.

Loved Honduras and Guatemala but violence is too prevalent. Like South side of Chicago.
