Wonder if they will help with noise when roasting.

Cat #1: You can't get new toys unless we get them too.
Cat #2: And they better have catnip if you drink that dusty brown stuff with water to get high.

Actually sounds fair...catnip and cat toys for coffee toys.

I just purchased a Phidget VintHub HUB0007_0 - 1-Port VINT Hub Phidget. It plugs straight into a USB port on my laptop. It appears to be a recent addition as it wasn't listed in Artisan 2.8.4 devices. It is working stellar with the TMP1100_0 - Isolated Thermocouple Phidget I have connected to it. I performed my first two roasts today and was impressed with the sleekness of this setup.
The essence of the b̶e̶a̶n̶ ......seed, but that sounds weird.

My setup is: 4x Thermocouple TMP1101_1 without the Shield Icon on the case that is directed to a VINT HUB HUB000_1
My understanding is that my 4X thermocouple unit may not have the new high-speed option because the Icon on the Phidget Control Panel does not show in red but in black.

My question:

In your view would an upgrade to a more recent 4x Thermocouple (TMP1101_1) but with the Phidget Shield Icon to benefit from high-speed communications between the Thermocouples and Artisan to stabilize the graph noise and achieve a faster response?

Don't know - it might - people have to test and compare it. Hence my post. I have their noise isolator and still get noise. Where it comes from is a mystery and it just could be the beans roll around the probe too much. Poor placement.

Phidgets wants $17.54 to ship the $40 Phidget. Just and FYI.

In a world where influencers exist and somehow live life for free and get paid on top of that it should be thinkable to ask Phidget for a demo piece to test it and if apliccable recommend it for our purpose.
