17% off, code is Green17

Now what to get? Thinking about the Brazil Diamond for blends.

Thanks for the heads up. I just picked up 10lbs each of the two Ethiopians to blend with something like the Black Diamond. The prices are reasonable with a 17% discount and free shipping.

I was just going to post this sale - just picked up 10 lbs of Ethiopia worka gr1 anaerobic natural - hopefully a good choice. Shipping is free over $50 btw.

Roastmasters just got a Natural Process version of the Panama Kotowa Duncan in:

https://www.roastmasters.com/duncan-natural.html

I have enjoyed their washed version in the past so would be a nice opportunity to try both vesions.

Costa Rica Sumava Villa Sarchi - Roastmasters
https://www.roastmasters.com/costa-suma ... archi.html

Has anyone tried this particular coffee or another Villa Sarchi varietal coffee? This is a first for me....but then there are so many new varietals that I have a hard time keeping up.

The processing sounds interesting too:
"This extraordinary Villa Sarchi from Sumava has been processed by the Cherry Reposado method, allowing the cherries to rest for a few days after being picked before they are washed. Sumava has developed the reposado method where, immediately following harvest, ripe cherry spends a couple of days of gentle resting time in baskets in the shade. This resting process has made for a complex, clean and bright coffee with fruity sweetness.

Panama Kotowa Duncan Natural - would love to hear impressions of this coffee as it will be another week or twp before I am ready to place an order - maybe as a new thread.

Burman's just got more of the Rwanda Huye Mountain Red Bourbon Top Lot - Washed
https://burmancoffee.com/product/coffee ... %3D.N7pqHZ

Always a favorite of mine...I love the deep chocolate notes with a hint of smokiness.

Roasted yesterday, just one batch. Drinking some now. Very nice, drinkable Panamanian.

I roasted the Panama Kotowa Duncan natural yesterday, ground it this morning and let the grounds degas for an hour, then immersion brewed it in a Clever Dripper. It's too soon to tell what it will be like after proper rest. I've started a thread to discuss this coffee here:

Thanks for the feedback - look forward to trying it :)

Sweet Maria's just added a Sumatra Spice-Aged Lintong
https://www.sweetmarias.com/sumatra-spi ... -7536.html
"A coffee aged for 36 months inside bags with whole anise, clove, and cardamom. The flavors are so intense, mulling spices (in a BIG way), black pepper, caramel sweetness, aromatic wood, and brothy savory-spiced notes. No actual spices are in the final product, but you'd guess there were based on flavor! "

Also recently added, an aneorobic wet hulled Sumatra Anaerobic Bebesen Aulia:
https://www.sweetmarias.com/sumatra-ana ... -7377.html
While not a fan of wet hulled coffee, I am tempted to try this.

I seem to recall that Sweet Maria's offered a Sumatra coffee in the last year that was double processed natural & wet hulled....or maybe it was a blend of wet hulled & natural. Did not take notes and was unable to find among SM's archived coffee offerings. In any case I recall the resulting coffee was rather nice, with dried apricot and fig notes against hummus earthy notes. While still not loving wet hulled processing, I found this a nice compromise with fruit appearing transforming the earthiness into sweet pipe tobacco.
