Do you have any experience with some of the EU available roasters? There are lots of possibilities in the US, but with shipping, VAT and customs included it's getting quite expensive. I was wondering about purchasing SR800, but it's not possible to buy it here. Shipping and customs raise the price by 50 % and breakes the guarantee.

Almost every home roaster from Amazon in EU is nameless and with no relevant reviews. The cheapest one is Gene Coffee, which is still €550.

Everything is available, at a price. If you are looking for low price bracket roasters I would recommend building one, or Macgyvering it with a paint gun doggy bowl or similar.
