Capturing ET and BT with control panel and artisan

I'm new to roasting with my North and have 2 thermocouples, environmental temperature going to my temperature controller and bean temp going to my phidget for artisan. I don't have room to insert additional thermocouples so if I wanted environmental also going into artisan could i just run wires from the phidget to the screws in the back of the temperature controller where that thermocouple screws in? To bridge the two together?

No. One probe per one measuring device input.
