Here is a roaster out of Massachussetts that got in on the same group buy with the auction: Speedwell coffee.

My second effort with this coffee. The first profile I lost and I went deeper on that one to a 215C drop.

Both roasts I much enjoyed and I will try to shorten EOD to 1C next time (although first crack may be marked incorrectly late in this artisan graph)

And here are the results: https://allianceforcoffeeexcellence.org ... atemala-2/

The few lots that did not get bids were picked up by the exporting partner Dinamica, like this #17 Capetillo y Anexos (producer Pedro Echeverria Falla, Sacatepequez) I'm drinking now, aeropress. What a tasty coffee of bright lemon and sour cherry, bracing acidity and structure. It's a natural process Caturra that would be a pleasure to roast to different levels, light and tart like this or more developed to add sweetness and mouthfeel.

I notice Sagebrush scored a lot and Onyx has their name on 3.

Trying to wrack my brain to see if we had a meetup at Sagebrush in Chandler, AZ. I don't think we hit that shop. Will set up this Winter for a gathering.

They have greens for sale: https://sagebrushunroasted.com/collecti ... an-coffees

I want to add that the El Diamante lot this year took top price at over $14/lb. Last year's that we enjoyed was a winner, too.
