Nice! There was even a "Lernstift" that would vibrate on writing errors, developed around here in Munich. Sadly the project did not make it.

In my view donating is not a 'once in a lifetime' gesture but rather a frequently recurring move, since I use Artisan almost every day as well.Madman13 wrote:Check on the second part already (although I'm not opposed to donating again for this valuable software).. So I guess that leaves the waiting part

This thread and the linked Getting Started Guide are a very helpful contribution. Thanks to Michael, Marko and everyone contributing. I'm marking this as a FAQ.

Thank you Gary. Users can find the current version date under "Who Is This For."
It's getting updated almost daily right now. I revised the Area Under Curve Section this am.
How is the Resources section for Cupping and Home Roasting related to the FAQ section? Should the link go there?
All the best, Michael

I've inserted a link in the FAQ for the Roasting forum, under Favorites. I've already been learning from your guide.

And here is a question: What is the best way to save a graph for HB? I've noticed tht the program graph does not look so nice. 9Sbeans I think shows this style:
I like it. But I still need to decide how I want to display RoR. And I don't know how to get the size right

When in doubt I bring up a nice display on my screen and do a screen capture. That creates an image file on my Mac that I then upload to H-B. I had that issue earlier this evening when for some reason uploading the display saved by Artisan cut out the fan and power data at the bottom of the screen.

Great. Curious if you tried sliders?drgary wrote:This thread and the referenced instructions helped me set up a much better way of recording and viewing power and fan settings by creating buttons.

File>Save Graph>Full Size. Note that HB reduces it to 800px wide.Chert wrote:And here is a question: What is the best way to save a graph for HB? I've noticed tht the program graph does not look so nice. 9Sbeans

Config>Axes is where you set the graph parameters. I have my Delta's go to 50 in steps of 5. I have temp axes go up to 550 to allow for room for the Statistics at the end.
Also the little icon that looks like a rising stock market can change your axes and curve parameters such as the the color, width etc.
