Dan, I really enjoyed this thread and thought the posts were extremely helpful in my coffee selections and preparations. I was just wondering if you were planning on having a go at again this year?

Cheers

Thanks for the reminder! Yes, we plan another go-around, starting by a wrapup of some 2010 nominees we didn't get to, then a new round of nominees. I will start a new thread similar to Nominees for "Favorite Espresso Blends" review next week. :)

I recently recovered from a nasty bout of pneumonia. I would not wish that on my worst enemy. However, it has been really cold lately (even in Florida) so I was not about to stand outside and roast in this weather with pneumonia. The result is that I ordered several of the blends in this thread and tried to work within the parameters and suggestions given by the panelists. It has been wonderful to rediscover some of these blends and I have to say that using the suggestions from this thread was so helpful. I just wanted to express my appreciation for the work put in by Dan and all the others who suffered through so many great coffees in order to lend their expertise. I really look forward to the next round of reviews and to supporting more of the fine roasters around the country.
