I love my sette but the non linear grind adjustment and the constant drifting of the fine ring and occasional coarse ring really annoyed me so I decided I had to do a mod.

Does your mod still rotate the outer burr, or does the inner burr spin now?

The nice thing about the sette is the gearbox, motor and outer burr is one complete unit. The only thing I did was attach the inner burr onto a 3/8 brass rod and made a worm screw type of mechanism to move the inner burr up and down for grind adjustment. It also has a clamp that locks the brass rod so drift is not possible at all.

It's just an acrylic panel that covers the gearbox and power supply
