Well, build plans have been thwarted by Omicron. The parts are here but now I gotta vamoose.....

In the meantime here's a synopsis:

The guts of Lelit PL41 are being repurposed into an ultra high performance single 'boiler' design of a much different level of performance and aesthetic. This thread aims to chronicle that journey.

I intend to use a bluetooth enabled microprocessor to explore, detail and implement optimized closed loop digital temperature control of the brew water. I also intend to modify the vibe-pump based architecture to achieve reasonable control over the brew pressure. Vari-vibe technology so to speak. Pretty standard stuff I suppose but, as they always say - errr at least I always say - the devil is in the details!! With some luck there will be a slick app to control it all. Should be a good time.
