Update: Works as expected. So to confirm: the 3 way solenoid was installed backwards. If you get one with the numbers 1/2 on top, the 2 should be facing the heat exchange and the 1 towards the head.

Fantastic job diagnosing and repairing this guys!! Another Livia 90S lives on!

Hank helped with mine last Jan, and it's still working perfectly.

@findar, Andrew, you might consider wrapping the boiler in ceramic wool, to protect the controller in the black box, and maybe turn down the adjustment on the pstat just a smidge, so that the heating element shuts off, when the pressure gauge need is at about 12 o'clock, or just a smidge sooner.

I got my ceramic wool on ebay for about $10, and it was enough to do the boiler on my Livia, and my Andreja, and still have extra. I just held it in place with a large zip-tie. Photo below...

Yep! I had some addons I was going to do like that. Wanted to make sure the machine was in good working order first.
