have one of these Cuadra E61 machines which I purchased used last year. It has been working great, then the other day it completely stopped working. The model is from 2013 and its a 110v version for the American market. The machine has power and I can hear the relay for the heating element turn on, then a few seconds later it turns back off and it does not heat up, nor can I turn the pump on. i went through this technical support on the 1st line website

seems like the same issue going on in this thread, but it did not seem to get resolved
La Nuova Era Cuadra not filling the boiler

I tested the heating element and its working, I checked the relay for the heating element and cleaned the contacts. I also check the pressurestat, boiler level sensor and the high temp shutoff and all were ok. Seems like what is happening is after the machine turns on, the Brain unit does not sense the tank has water in it and then shuts the machine down. Anyone know how to test the Brain unit or the water level sensor?
here is the water level sensor

and this is the brain unit

I could just buy a new controller brain unit and the level sensor, but It would be nice to be able to check to make sure that one of them is the issue before spending $200
