That's the full kit. Been sitting on my desk for a while now. Just need to find 8 hrs to put it in.

How long did it take you to complete the mod?

It took me about 8-9 hrs. I did the gicluer change like Clive coffee recommended as well. It is different than what Rick recommended.

Purchased my LMLM new back sometime in 2018 and it's made great espresso for me ever since. Couple of quirks that made me want to go EMP.

1. No preinfusion
2. .8 gicleur flow rate is really fast - I wdt like crazy to prevent channeling.
3. Can't leave good enough alone, want to try something different with pressure profiling without replacing a machine I really love.

Rick is very responsive and his instructions on YouTube are excellent. From payment to delivery to my door was 6 weeks. $25 additional for US customs.

Watched the instructions twice before beginning, here's pics of the tear down, btw, the EMP doesn't require a full panels/base off tear down, I only did it for paint and cleaning... and... f'it, why not at this point.

All panels off for Cerakote green. While detaching the brew boiler so I can take the front plate off for paint, I noticed a bit of corrosion.

Anything to worry about? Removed and cleaned.

New 0.6mm gicleur installed

Old .8 gicleur threads look a bit rusty

Old gicleur opening is clean as a whistle, thank you water softener.

Front plate off, pressure gauges off, brew boiler opened and cleaned.

No scale in brew boiler but there was a sticky film on the bottom that I cleaned off with goo gone.

Has anyone had any issues with the potentiometer that gets attached to paddle? I saw the video on Instagram that Rick posted about replacing the one on his machine in the shop. How long do they last in a home setting when making 5-6 coffees per day?

I'm 1.5yrs into mine and I typically make 2-3/day. No issues so far. No idea how long they last but I can't imagine they fail frequently. A big positive is that if there is an issue, Rick will help you fix it.
