I'm a little apprehensive in bending the $71 pipe (16)
. I was going to purchase a new one and try on that one; however, it is a special order item and 6 weeks lead time.
Thinking about installing it at 10 as it would only require me to remove 10, install a 1/8 BSP (M, F) L, and 1/8 BSP M to 1/4 BSP F adapter.

Well, as mentioned in a previous post, I had outboarded the stock pump and my machine was quiet as a whisper, no rattling. The EMP Mod introduced some vibration and I was able to reduce a lot of it through the use of silicon jacket over the braided hoses.
However, I was not satisfied; therefore I searched the internet for an extension cord for the new pump and got lucky, https://www.linengineering.com/products ... c-cable-1m.
Bought one and it is a perfect match for Rick's cable, it plugs into the controller and the other end mates with Rick's cable, amazing.
I still need to dress the cables and hose a little, but I tested it and I'm back to no more noise in the machine and having the EMP functionality.

In Germany the No. 16 copper tube is only ~25€ so I'll give it a try and see if I can make it work by bending it.
Impressive work on outsourcing the pump. I enjoy the noise reduction compared to the stock pump so I'll just stick to the normal installation.

Very impressed by the effort and success in moving the pump. While personally the EMP modded LMLM is quiet enough, I can imagine yours is completely silent. Interested to see more about the pressure monitoring, could be a fun project!

I ended up buying a sample Bluetooth transducer from https://transducersdirect.com/products/ ... ransducer/. These guys have an app as well.
I purchased all the parts; however, I won't get to it for another couple of weeks. I also purchased an additional tube if I mess up my current tube when I bend it. Once I have it up and running and it works, I'll list all the parts and post pictures/videos.

Has anyone been able to get in touch with Rick recently? I've emailed a few times asking about mods on the Micra and have not heard back.
Not a big deal, I'd just prefer to wait for something out of his shop with full control over the Micra as opposed to just the needle valve.

Rick replied.
For the curious Micra owners, because I know you'll end up on this thread.
He does not have plans at this time to make a Micra version of the EMP mod.

I have mine installed at 10 and can verify it's not particularly accurate. It's my second location. The first was prior to the line going to the pressure gauge... that was even worse.
I'm interested in the location you mention and didn't consider putting it there. I have a pipe that I custom bent that I could like make work.
I'll give it a try over the next week or so and report back.
Interested in your experience with the position recommended by Rick himself. Please keep us updated
