La Marzocco GS3 MP STEAM VALVE KNOB Issue

I just rebuilt the STEAM VALVE KNOB with kit I ordered from L.M - I've taking this apart about 10 times since then, and the STEAM VALVE KNOB wont rise back up in the middle position. It is just floppy now. Locks in place for stretching the milk.

Either you left out the spring or some other part, or the large chrome nut needs to be tightened more.

hmm probably tightening than. Seems like it's tight, but also dont want to scratch the new paint job. lol

Might the nut be cross threaded?
