I've had my duetto for probably four years. I admittedly havent used it in probably a year. I ordered some coffee so decided to get my machine ready. I turned it on and it stays on for a few seconds. The PID lights up, see the boiler lights blink then after a few seconds the PID turns off. You can hear it click and go off. The light on the main switch stays on though. There is water in the reservoir and I do see the float float up so don't believe it thinks there is no water. Anyone have any ideas?

Figured it out. It was in fact the magnet. When I cleaned it I pushed down the float stop (for lack of a better term) so the magnet was floating but not as high as it needed to be.

Glad you figured it out. Sometimes the reservoir is not close enough for the sensor to function properly as well.
