Just wanted to say thanks again all for the responses.

I think I will replace the grouphead in the next year or so. A rancilio tech confirmed the rancilio grouphead will fit the promac. Now with a new gasket, shower screen and basket the machine works well. No leaking when choked out or when back flushing.
