Now I am almost there! Still checking fore leaks and de-scaleing the boiler pressure gauge (needle is not moving).

Here is a list of everting that has been done:
- De-scaled the boiler and all copper/brass pipes and parts
- New gaskets and seals (not heat element gasket)
- New pressurestat (Sirai)
- New over pressure valve
- New group solenoid + valve and water inlet solenoid + valve (Parker)
- Boiler insulated
- Pump refubished (new bearing and vane service)
- New wires (switch - p-stat - element terminals)
- repainted side and back covers

Still to be done:
- smaller gicleur to reduce water debit. (now ca 450ml/20sek!)
- new steam vand nozzle. (Now a 4-hole nozzle with big holes, very rapid steaming but no "microfoam", just milk and big bubbles)

I hope to get the covers on in a few days time! Then I will post some pictures.

Nice work Simon. Really incompasses the look of that time.
Between order and chaos there is espresso.
Semper discens.

Thank You! The original caramel coloured side panels was looking alot like 1988. The new dark olive green colour is a bit retro but still a bit modern. I am glad that I didn't paint the side panels my self. Proper tools and a professional car painter makes a big difference!
