It was indeed an empty box to be used for shipping the machine to Breville, which I had already done.
Yesterday instead I received my machine back. It was shipped with a label issued by PRC, at this point I think that it handles also the logistic for Breville.
The machine was repaired, it looks like they addressed all the issues that I had listed in my case.
The only thing is that the pressure is still not reaching 9 bars. If I use the blind basket it goes to 8.5 and then keeps jumping between 8 and 8.5 bars.

Opinions? What does you machine show with a blind basket? With so many videos online, I could not find one that clearly shows it.

Never mind. I spent sometime on the phone with Breville Service, discussed the issue, they are replacing my machine with a new one.
