Just joined this forum and looking forward to getting to know you all!
I've just recently purchased a pre loved Breville Barista Express.
It appears to have some corrosion on the exterior of it(attached photos)



I opened the machine and i think i've found the leak- the elbow that joins into the solenoid.
I've just ordered a new part - stainless steel.
Does anyone have any recommendations on cleaning up the corrosion on the side of the machine?
When i pick at the parts it peels off a bit of plastic, leaving some white powder.
My initial thoughts was oxidisation, or some sort of electrochemical corrosion?
Anything would help!!
