Thanks Holgar, clears up some questions.
Would anyone know where to purchase gaskets and seals for this machine? Paul Pratt informed me that he's taken a break from selling vintage parts for awhile. Any help greatly appreciated.
In the meantime I've started cleaning up the boiler assembly and the pipe work. The scale is like cement and have been chiseling away at it in between acid baths. The end cap, opposite the end plate, on the boiler is not brass or copper, but seems to be an aluminum type alloy of some sort. It is non-ferrous. Will post some photos when I get a chance.

Greetings -
It's been awhile since I've checked here, life happened...
Here's the tube from the grill. It looks more like a florescent tube than neon, tho must admit I'm not that familiar with neon. there was no sign of a transformer or ballast, but it seems they were usually external.

Here's some random pix showing progress. Starting to clean up the bodywork while working out how to fix the element and where to source the fawcet washers for the sight glass shutoff taps. The frame was blasted and powder coated .
