What is the little bar graph entitled: "MVP"? I see this under the nickname of many posters but, alas...not under mine. What is it and for what does "MVP" stand?

MVP Standings
Ranking of the site's top 50 Most Valued Participants

Don't know why you do not have one, or more to the point why I do ???????????

I wouldn't worry about it.

All the Best

See Most Valued Participants score (MVP).

MVP scores 2 and lower are not shown (new members or very infrequent posters).

Interesting culture here on the board with the MVP rating??

Question - who determines that rating, how is it "voted" on or determined?

TJ, I merged your question with a thread on the same subject. Most Valued Participants score (MVP) explains its origins.
HB wrote:Without getting into the details, it's basically a weighted average of a member's regular participation over a long period so a given score should not shift suddenly.

Dan, the link or the included quote did not answer my question at all.

Who determines it? Is it something done by a formula (which I can't see how) but if it is please share.

It's a formula based on your post history. I don't publish specifics because (a) it's not meant to be taken that seriously, and (b) some might try to "game" the score if they knew specifics. Some don't like the MVP score; if you don't, turn it off in your profile: Suppress MVP score.
