As of yesterday I am getting a pop up window every time I go to mark a page as read. Is there a way to turn this functionality off? The safety net is more bothersome than its worth.

It is a bit tedious, if there were a way to configure the confirmation pop-up on or off that would be great.

I also noticed this change and figured it was part of a phpBB patch. Could not locate a preference to disable it. It would have saved me a few times when I accidentally clicked the mark all read instead of mark page read but I'd prefer to disable it as well.

I would guess you can blame me for that, Dan's been working on a new feature I've asked about a few times and it might have touched on that code.

Then again, maybe I'm just full of myself.

Heh, can't win! I add the confirmation at one person's request and others complain about it. I'll look into making it optional.

I've added the option "Confirm before mark read" with default of "No". :D
