When I open up the notifications on dark mode, it is very hard for me to tell which notifications haven't been read yet. In light mode I can see the color difference pretty easily though. Maybe it's just my color perception though.

Could the color be changed in the dark mode to make it more different from the read notifications? Or maybe put a little symbol, bold the timestamp text, or some other way to signify an unread notification?

Good idea, I've added an unread reminder after the timestamp for those you haven't read yet.
