Well, it has taken long enough! We have published the text of the alignment procedures on our website at https://www.versalab.com/BURRALIGNMENT.html . We have pictures and sketches but our web development environment has a problem with uploading them. This has been going on for weeks now hopefully they can fix it soon. We have decided to get the text published so that people can get a feel for the various jobs.

So will the higher quality kit provide a more accurate alignment than the cheaper kit?

Why not create a PDF and just link that on your website in the interm?

If you want higher accuracy point the lever at a steeper angle
and take advantage of cosine error. Obviously You can't get all the way to perpendicular.
Scraping away (slowly) at the tyranny of biases and dogma.

The pictures are posted at https://www.versalab.com/BURRALIGNMENT.html . Let us know if they are helpful.

We are still unsure about how to supply a kit or the information needed to buy your own tools.

Remember this only applies to grinders made prior to 2013. Since then M3 series grinders shouldn't have alignment issues unless damaged.
