The new Ceado E37SD (single-dose) grinder is going to be available for shipment around April 15th. This is another really cool grinder from Ceado. This is a single dose grinder with the new "Quick Set Gear" adjustment for fine tuning your grind. With it, you can switch between drip and espresso easily and repeatedly. The titanium burrs are 83mm and can be accessed for cleaning by removing 3 screws. To minimize retention, the E37SD is also equipped with the bellows found on the Z-Hero.

But that's not all. Ceado has also accessorized the SD with a WDT (Weiss Distribution Technique) cup, a RDT (Ross Droplet Technique) sprayer, and an espresso funnel.

We are now accepting pre-orders of the E37SD at retail price of $2,400. Give us a call at 888.411.5282, option 1 and a member of our sales team will be happy to take your order.

What about existing E37S users, is Ceado planning any upgrade kit or something like that ?

Hmm-m. I hope WholeLatteLove and Ceado acknowledge where they got the ideas from.

It looks like you have to hold the portafilter in place with this grinder. It that the case?

I believe that the portafilter holder that the new e37s has won't work with a funnel. At least it seems like it from the SD version image.

I do wish Ceado would sell a portafilter fork like the Mazzer one. I was actually thinking about 3D printing something like that.

The E37S is not going to be getting an upgrade to kit with a "bellows'. The design is different and it will not fit.

Hi Dan.....Over the years there have been so many great ideas by so many people that have helped increase the quality of our coffee and they should be recognized. We mentioned it in this post and will continue to do our part! Thanks for bringing it up.

The SD comes with the WDT (Weiss Distribution Technique) cup that will fit securely into the portafilter holder to catch the coffee. So you can grind directly into the cup and then pour it into the filter basket. The object with this grinder is to be able to single dose and switch between fine and course quickly (and predictably) and the cup was a great way to go to catch the coffee. But to answer your question, yes would have to hold the portafilter if you want to grind directly into it.

You will notice a line on top of it. Use this line as a reference point for when you adjust the grind setting.
