PID Upgrade for the ECM Synchronika & Profitec Pro 700

Check out the PID upgrade for awesome steaming performance on the ECM Synchronika and Profitec Pro 700 Espresso Machines.The new PID allows for steam boiler pressures near 2 Bar! It's standard on Synchronika and Pro 700 machines purchased starting in early April of 2018. An upgrade kit will be available in 2-3 months for older machines with current max boiler pressure of about 1.25 Bar. The upgrade results in steaming performance similar to commercial machines like the La Marzocco GS3.

The kit for the PRO700 is $225 and the ECM Syncronika is $235. I expect to have them around the middle of end of May.

When did they start selling the 700 with the upgrade, I purchased mine from WLL about 2.5 months ago

Try cranking your temperature up on the steam boiler, the old PID only maxed out at 262* F. The new one goes higher obviously.
