I'm still interested in this grinder but have yet to see any reviews. Chris, since you are using the grinder can you tell us how the grind quality compares to the competition in this price range?

The grind quality is great! I have just asked a customer of ours to write a review on our website when he has a chance to help others considering buying the G60. He is going to be posting one later today. There will be more following his as well, since we've already sold out of our first shipment.

Chris, can you comment on two questions for this grinder? How fast is the grinder (specifically, how long does it take to pull an 18g shot)? Also, what does it look like inside the funnel? Is it an empty funnel or is the "clump crusher" similar to the Mazzer E's that make cleaning a little more difficult?

You can grind 18 grams of coffee in about 8 seconds. Here is a photo of the inside of the chamber. There is a metal piece separating where the coffee goes from the internal wires.

To those of you who are interested in this grinder, and would like to read a very detailed email one of our awesome customers sent to MacKenzie, it has been added to the product page under "Resources"

Good to see the review as it really breaks down the features. How good the G60 is in terms of 'in the cup' taste compared to other grinders is still an unknown. The Fiorenzato F4 also has great features and produces a great looking grind. Are they equals in 'taste"? I wonder...

I bought the NS G60 grinder from you in late November and have used it daily.

I'm relatively new to the barista craft but know excellent espresso when I taste it.
Using it, I have brewed some of the best espresso I've ever tasted going back 20 years.

I would buy it again knowing much more now about the barista craft than I did then.
It is providing consistent excellent grinds and is very precise in grind adjustment.

Did a choke test with it on my espresso machine and it indeed choked, and no where near the finest grind setting.

It is also one of the most elegant & beautiful espresso grinders I've seen. It is simply beautiful.
Proud to have it next to my espresso machine. Not kidding.

Mark me down as a very happy G60 owner.

I believe Nuova Simonelli owns Eureka. Are there any similarities with any of the direct Eureka branded grinders ? Here in Canada I see both Nuova Simonelli and Eureka grinders but have also seen Nuova Simonelli Eureka grinders branded as a complete name.
Between order and chaos there is espresso.
Semper discens.
