I have maybe 3 or 4 espressos during the day but occasional guests may bring it up to 10. I think if the motor is the weak spot for the duty cycle, if affordably priced a replacement may be a simple maintenance issue every few years and still cheaper than the Niche. For me the main reason to buy is the size.
