Hey Sam,
Happy owner of a P64! I give it a few gentle taps after grinding to try and force some air through and get residual grinds out, but can't help but feel bellows would be more effective.
What holds me back is I read somewhere through second hand information that you guys don't recommend having bellows on the p64. Do you have a point of view on this? Would bellows cause harm to my grinder?
Thanks!

Thanks, Felix! We are typically not a fan of bellow, as in our experience they often create more mess than they're worth and can scatter grinds into where they wouldn't normally be. In the original (I think the first version, so unless you have a very early unit this wouldn't be applicable) it can blow grind into the bearing, but the subsequent units all have sealed bearings, so I think it should be fine. But we haven't tested bellows on the P64 long-term, so we can't really vouch for it... TLDR: it should be ok, but we haven't tested it enough to be 100%.fxroberge wrote:Hey Sam,

Can we get a video of the 01 in action? Also what are the new burrs comparable to? I like the ssp hu in the p64, any way I would like them?

We had some teaser videos showing the new aspects of the 01 - otherwise workflow wise it's pretty much the same as P100 (portafilter onto holder, turn on the grinder, load beans, grinder auto switch off). Our team is also working on more videos, assuming you are referring to a full workflow?rfleming944 wrote:Can we get a video of the 01 in action? Also what are the new burrs comparable to? As for the burrs, it would probably depend on your cup style preference and roast level. It's more modern/higher clarity compared to the 64mm HU (which we considered a more traditional cup profile). If you're looking for a higher-body/mouthfeel taste experience than the 64mm HU, then the Mizen might not be the one for you. Otherwise, I think it should excel in every other areas (flavour separation, clarity, sweetness), especially for light to medium roasts.
Would love to see a workflow video, I know they're only shipping in October but when could I expect to see the 01 at offical resellers (alternative brewing)?
Curious as I begin work on an off-grid cabin- is there now or will there be an adapter for the Mini to use 12v-24v, bypassing the Brick?

Sorry for the delay and it took us a while to get to it: OPTION-O: Introducing LAGOM 01 - Now live and available for order!Bleep4032 wrote:Would love to see a workflow video, I know they're only shipping in October but when could I expect to see the 01 at offical resellers (alternative brewing)?
Regarding the availability of the 01, it's usually best to check directly with the distributors. However, we anticipate that the LAGOM 01 will start appearing on our distributors' "shelves" around early November.
Thanks for the question! Unfortunately, I don't think that's on our to-do list at the moment. While it might be possible theoretically, it's not something we can officially endorse at this time due to the risk of damage and it's not within the scope of our testing. If this is really critical, please feel free to contact us directly for further details.NicaDon wrote:Curious as I begin work on an off-grid cabin- is there now or will there be an adapter for the Mini to use 12v-24v, bypassing the Brick?

I've recently found the Lagom Mini as I've been looking for options to the Niche Zero I currently own and have used for a handful of years now. I read a lot of great things about the Mini, so call me intrigued - especially for the price.
If I regularly require 3-4 espresso a day, usually most of that is in one session, is this still the right grinder to use daily - can it replace the Niche Zero?
I think I'm okay with the longer grind time and taking time between uses to limit motor wear is fine for me.
