I get that the white is new, but if it's "exclusive", why did I get an email from Fellow telling me about it with their web site showing 495 available to purchase?

Ah, fair point. Fellow is indeed offering these and we're the sole reseller. Typically we would consider that an exclusive product because manufacturers are not often our competition. Perhaps "co-exclusive" fits this situation better?
