As https://decentespresso.com/batches indicates (realtime factory schedule and plans), only XL/XXL models, and they are SCHEDULED and not yet STARTED.

I try to be really transparent, so all the information really is there.

ScottinTexas wrote:John, when is my card charged in full, when I place my order or when the product ships? Just not sure what your revrec method is in HK. May affect my order date a bit. Quick follow-up, no supply constraints on any DE1XL black 110V units for the next several weeks? Only build time delays due to recent overall demand?

Scott
You're charged immediately, in full.

If you order a model that is currently in stock https://tinyurl.com/decentinstock then it's shipped the next day.

If your ordered model is not in stock, take a look at https://decentespresso.com/queue to see when it will be built.

As to "any build constraints?" -- absolutely none. We have 13 months of parts in stock now, for all models. No COVID here (42 days COVID-free, <knock on wood>) so we're building around 250 to 300 machines per month. https://decentespresso.com/batches

Hi John

In one of your videos, you mentioned that you'll likely move the Decent to a rotary pump down the road. When you were studying the different options, were gear pumps in your option set, and if so, why choose rotary over gear?

The reason I ask is because I'm not a huge fan of the combination of rotary pumps and E61 flow control, but I wonder if your mechanism to control flow and pressure is markedly different, thus making a comparison moot?

Funny thing about the grab handle, which I thought was superfluous when I got my machine, is that it can grow on you. I now use it every time and find myself searching for one when I use my Synchronika. Dang.
A little obsessed.
